Marriage is a fundamental aspect of God’s creation and redemptive plan. As man and woman are made in His image, they are entrusted with the incredible responsibility of raising the next generation and stewarding His creation. Moreover, they have the privilege of tangibly reflecting the image of God and representing the relationship and love that Christ has for His people. It is clear that God’s meaning & purpose for marriage extends far beyond a mere personal relationship with a spouse.

Marriage Champions

The Bowmans founded Tataciksta Ministries as a bold vision to inspire and transform marriages and families by raising up marriage champions who will ignite a marriage movement locally and abroad. These champions are individuals who are passionate about connecting with Jesus and one another at a heart level, and who seek to help marriages and families flourish in their churches, neighborhoods, and communities. They are committed to pursuing God’s destiny for their lives and families, and to leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come. Marriage is an exciting journey where couples, who are in love with Jesus, seek to glorify Him in their life together and in His work to renew all things. 

Our Statement of Faith

Our statement of faith, beliefs and practices are rooted in the Bible, which is God's story of love and hope for all people.

-We firmly believe that marriage is a loving, covenant relationship established by God, joining one man and one woman in a faithful, lifelong union. Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:

-We also believe that sexual expression is a beautiful gift from God, intended to be expressed only within the marriage relationship. Hebrews 13:4

-Furthermore, we recognize that marriage uniquely expresses the image of God, the Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - and the love relationship between Christ and His people. Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 5

-Finally, we acknowledge that God has given every marriage a unique role and responsibility to reflect His glory and steward His creation. Genesis 1:28
