Guiding couples to a cherished covenant marriage

Pronounced “TahTah chik stah” = I Cherish You

The name Tataciksta is a Pawnee term meaning “I cherish You”. We chose the name Tataciksta as a constant reminder of God’s cherishing love and its potential by imitation to transform relationships. By imitating that cherishing love in marriage a husband and wife can influence generational change amongst their family and others in their church and community. Thus becoming Marriage Champions. And as Marriage Champions we can do more than repair the already broken marriages in our communities, we can work to extinguish the stigmatism surrounding marriage enrichment programs and begin to mobilize the kingdom of God in a shared purpose of discipleship through marriage ministry.

At Tataciksta Ministries, we’re on a mission to curb the rising divorce rate among Christian marriages in the US and beyond. We’re passionate about providing discipleship through biblical teachings, unforgettable getaway retreats, personalized coaching, mentoring, counseling resources, and a supportive Christian community. Our ultimate goal is to spread the unconditional and tangible love of Jesus Christ to every single person who walks through our doors. We are founded on the biblical principles of Ephesians 5. Join us in our mission to strengthen and save Christian marriages, one couple at a time!

A Cherished Covenant Marriage

Cherish defined … to Love, to protect, to care for, to adore, to hold dear .

Covenant defined …Solemn, binding agreement, I will, even if you don’t.

A cherished marriage and a covenant marriage are intricately intertwined when they are centered on Christ. By aligning their values and actions with biblical principles, couples can cultivate a deep and lasting bond that is rooted in love, respect, and commitment. Such marriages prioritize selflessness, forgiveness, and sacrificial love, mirroring the examples set by Christ. Through their shared faith and reliance on God’s guidance, couples in a cherished covenant marriage find strength, unity, and fulfillment in their relationship and shared purpose.

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Ephesians 5:21

Why Marriage is So Important

Marriage is a fundamental aspect of God's creation and redemptive plan. As man and woman are made in His image, they are entrusted with the incredible responsibility of raising the next generation and stewarding His creation. Moreover, they have the privilege of tangibly reflecting the image of God and representing the relationship and love that Christ has for His people. It is clear that God's meaning and purpose for marriage extends far beyond a mere personal relationship with a spouse.

Investing in marriages is crucial for building strong families, churches, and communities. By prioritizing our relationship with Christ personally and in our marriages, we can create a positive ripple effect that will impact future generations. We have the power to shift the cultural narrative surrounding marriage by investing in our relationships through attending conferences, marriage events, and participating in church marriage ministries. Don't underestimate the value of your marriage. It's worth investing in. By doing so, you're not only strengthening your own relationship, but you're also contributing to the foundation of your family, church, and community.

Strong Marriages = Strong Families = Strong Churches = Strong Communities
