The vision
The Bowman’s founded Tataciksta Ministries as a bold vision to inspire and transform their community, by helping to raise champions for marriage. Couples who are passionate about connecting with Jesus and one another at a heart level in their own marriages, and who will join with Him to encourage and strengthen marriages and families in their church home. Part of their vision is to participate in a church-led marriage initiative by identifying, encouraging, and equipping couples to become marriage champions in every community of Western North Carolina.
Our marriage on a mission for yours!
Shane and Renee Bowman are “marriage champions” with 30 plus years of marriage under their belt. Their union is a testament to the divine orchestration and redemptive power of our Lord and Savior, and they are determined to use their experience to inspire and guide other couples. With three successful children and an empty nest, they are embarking on a new journey as marriage missionaries.
In 2017, a couples retreat changed their lives forever, and they were called to action by the Lord. In 2020 with little hesitation, they moved to Roan Mountain, Tennessee to become care missionaries to pastors and other missionaries from around the globe. Their unwavering faith and dedication to their mission have led them to start a marriage initiative in Western North Carolina aimed at supporting churches to reduce divorce rates in the community, state, and beyond.
Shane & Renee' possess unwavering confidence in their abilities, having undergone extensive marriage workshops, facilitator trainings, coaching certification courses, and hands-on experience in marriage enrichment retreats. They eagerly anticipate witnessing the transformative power of God as they positively influence countless marriages.
